How to encourage investment in historic properties? – #archiDAY TALKS in Końskie
During the #archiDAY TALKS meeting in Końskie, we discussed how investment in historic properties can combine heritage protection with giving buildings new functions, as well as where to identify the business potential of historic spaces and their role in the urban fabric.
The event brought together representatives of the architectural and academic communities, the design industry, and developers, including WXCA, Medusa Group Przemo Łukasik, Warsaw University of Technology, ARCHISNOB Marcin Szczelina, and #OKAM – represented by Dagmara Grębowska and Marta Tołkacz.
The event was organized by Przemysław Szklarzewski, Piotr Grochowski, Wojciech Kolęda, #StareMury, #StarTrainingCenter, and #Stargres.
At OKAM, we treat revitalization as a responsible process of urban development – one that enables historic buildings to regain functionality and create long-term value for the city and its future users. Our projects include BOHEMA – Strefa Praga, F.S.O. PARK, and PRESTIA Senior Residences in Księży Młyn, where we are giving historic spaces new functions aligned with contemporary urban needs.
We would like to thank the organizers and all participants for the inspiring conversations, exchange of experience, and valuable discussion on the future of investing in historic properties.
