World Energy Day.
WORLD ENERGY DAY, which falls on October 22, reminds us of the need to develop alternative energy sources and save natural resources, which means living sustainably with the natural environment in mind.
According to data from the International Energy Agency, buildings currently account for approximately 30% of global energy consumption and over 20% of global CO2 emissions. At the same time, the energy transformation within the ‘European Green Deal’ assumes a 55% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in Europe by 2030 and achieving climate neutrality in the EU by 2050. Its main pillars are: the development of renewable energy, the share of which in the EU energy mix is to reach 40% by 2030, energy efficiency, ecological transport and zero-emission technologies.
When creating the concept of the F.S.O. PARK investment, from the very beginning we included alternative methods of obtaining heat energy and ecological sources of electricity.
In addition to 20 ha of greenery within the F.S.O. PARK, these solutions will help reduce the carbon footprint and reduce energy demand, and thus improve the quality of life of future residents, as well as reduce their electricity costs.
Let’s remember that in the era of climate change, every daily activity to save energy matters.
LET’S START TODAY!
