How do we want to live in 25 years?
This is one of the questions that was asked during the talks at this year’s 4 Design Days on January 23-24 in Katowice.
Architect Marta Sękulska-Wrońska from the WXCA, architectural studio, in the “Architect profession” block of speeches, pointed out the aspect of the mission and responsibility of designers in the process of strategic city planning, using the example of multi-year, complex projects implemented by the WXCA team.
A city is a complex organism and its creation is a multi-threaded process. We need to talk now about the cities we want to live in in 25 years. We also cannot ignore climate and social changes.
In this context, Marta presented the social and spatial values of our company’s F.S.O. PARK masterplan, which constitute a permanent basis for creating the fabric of a multifunctional district on the site of the former #FSO factory in Warsaw, leaving flexibility for improving technology and adapting the housing offer to the needs of future residents..
