ALK students’ tour of the former FSO site

On Friday, May 8, another guided walk took place at the site of the former FSO Factory in Warsaw for students of Akademia Leona Koźmińskiego (Kozminski University).

The tour was led by Maciej Bień, founder of Muzeum w Fabryce. Students visited selected buildings on the former factory site and learned about its history as well as its importance for the Polish automotive industry.

The plans for transforming the area into F.S.O. PARK were also presented – a development project aimed at turning one of the largest urban heat islands in this part of Warsaw into a green urban space, featuring a central park and new multifunctional public areas.

At the end of the walk, participants visited the Muzeum w Fabryce located on the former factory grounds, where they saw historic cars and other exhibits related to the history of FSO.
