#KobietyPragiPółnoc – ALEKSANDRA SMOLIŃSKA.
In the latest episode of the OKAM Capital podcast #KobietyPragiPółnoc, we had the great pleasure of talking to Ola Smolińska, president of the Stowarzyszenie Serduszko dla Dzieci – an organization that has been creating a development space for children and young people in Warsaw’s Praga Północ for many years.
Under her leadership, the Association runs youth clubs, community centres, and organises cultural and journalistic projects, proving that grassroots work can bring spectacular results.
The history of #OKAM‘s cooperation with the Association shows how business can really support the local community and how important an element of building modern districts of the future is investing in people. We met again this year, because on June 15 we played another football tournament on the #DOSiR pitch at Kawęczyńska Street in Praga. This event fits perfectly into the OKAM philosophy, in which a healthy and integrated local community is created through sport and physical activity, and this is what is also to be in F.S.O. PARK, among others.
In this conversation, you will learn not only about the history and activities of the Association, but also how a female leader copes with the challenges of managing a non-governmental organization, where she draws strength for her daily work with children and youth, and what her plans are for the future. This is a story about the power of female social entrepreneurship in Praga-Północ.
